OPO Summer Camp is an 8-day program that includes small ensemble playing, large ensemble playing, music history, and solo performance. The camp accepts String, Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion campers. The camp will conclude in a performance at Steinmetz Hall to showcase everything participants learned.
• Schedule: Camp runs for an 8-day program from May 28th to June 5th, 2026, with a final concert on June 6th, 2026.
• Price: Tuition fee of $450 is due May 22nd after notification of acceptance, and a $15 application fee is due with audition materials and application by May 1st, 2026.
This year marks the OPO Summer Camp’s 6th anniversary. The program is led by Summer Camp Artistic Director Mauricio Céspedes Rivero. Audition excerpts are available, and payment plans and full scholarships are available, with scholarship applications accepted with the Summer Camp application or after notice of acceptance. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is funded in part by United Arts of Central Florida, sponsored in part by the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts, is a Partner Organization of the National Alliance for Audition Support, and is a Supporting Partner of the Greater Orlando Performing Arts Relief (GOPAR) program.
