The concept of the Avalon School of Music came to founder John Kolbrich in early 2003, he began teaching students in a home-based studio in May 2003, opened a new music center in mid-2004, and opened Orlando School of Music two years later. By or before 2020, the organization had expanded to five school locations, four in the greater Orlando area and one in Tampa-Westchase, and it is identified as © 2020 Orlando School of Music. John graduated from DeVry University in 1982, has been performing professionally for over 30 years, and continues to perform with the group “Europa,” which has been active for over 25 years, and Philip has been a piano instructor since 2005.
