Youth Academy is part of Orlando Family Stage, which was founded in 1926. Orlando Family Stage states its mission as empowering young people to be brave and empathetic by creating quality theatrical experiences. Orlando Family Stage has operated for the past 20 years as Florida’s only professional theatre for young audiences and is described as Florida's home for family theatre and “The Finest in Family Theater.” Orlando Family Stage is the seventh iteration of the original theatre company and is celebrating 100 years of theatre in Central Florida.
