Orlando Science Center STEM Discovery Center Programs are part of a hands-on science museum that features hands-on exhibits, live demos, and interactive fun. The STEM Discovery Center empowers students, educators, and visitors of all ages through school and youth programs. These programs take place alongside exhibits such as Mission: Astronaut, Fusion STEM Gallery, and Life, which features animals and immersive habitats.
Orlando Science Center is a nonprofit that has served Central Florida for over 60 years. Its stated mission is to inspire science learning for all. The organization provides training for more than 2,000 teachers, educates and inspires more than 152,000 students, and serves over 670,000 visitors each year. The Section 504 / ADA / LEP Coordinator is Debra Gordon. Orlando Science Center is funded in part by United Arts of Central Florida, Orange County Government through the Arts & Cultural Affairs Program, the City of Orlando, and the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts. Bank of America’s Museums on Us Weekend offers that the first full weekend of every month, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch credit and debit cardholders can receive free admission to Orlando Science Center.
