Oak Ridge Children's Academy

Oak Ridge Children's Academy offers a Preschool Program that focuses on creative expression, language, music and movement, reading readiness, science, self concept, social and emotional growth, literacy, oral and written language, and prior knowledge. It also offers VPK and VPK Wraparound for ages 4 years to 5 years, plus before-and-after school care for ages 6 years to 12 years.

• VPK Program — 4 Years - 5 Years · $180 per week · Free state funded 3 hour program that runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Families may apply for a scholarship through 4C.
• VPK Wraparound — 4 Years - 5 Years · $120 per week
• Fours (48 months) — 48 months · $180 per week
• 5 years old (54months) — 54 months · $165 per week
• Before & After School — 6 Years - 12 Years · $95 per week · No pick-up and drop-off option available.
• Before OR After School — 6 Years - 12 Years · $85 per week · No pick-up and drop-off option available.

About the provider

Oak Ridge Children's Academy was founded in 1979 under the name The Guardian Angel. Owner/Director Maritza Lopez took over in 1988 and renamed it Oak Ridge Children's Academy. The program says it has provided childcare in Orlando since 1979 and lists more than 44 years of professional care. It is an education-based care program, accepts VPK and School Readiness, and is accredited through NECPA. It is also a Florida Gold Seal Quality Care provider, recognized as a 5 star center, and its teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid and have health and nutrition training.

Mon-Fri 6:00 am - 5:30 pm; Sat-Sun closed. Registration fee of $60.00 per child is due upon enrollment for some programs. The center serves only nutritious foods and makes physical activity a top priority. No pick-up and drop-off option available for Before & After School.
