Orlando Ballet School offers ballet classes along with workshops, masterclasses, Spring and Summer camps, and a Summer Intensive program. The program also includes adult fitness classes such as Fitness Thru Dance, a 5 Week Modern Workshop, a 5 Week Beginner Ballet Workshop, and a 5-Week Absolute Beginner Tap Workshop. Students train with the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum, and many instructors are American Ballet Theatre®–certified or trained in distinguished European methodologies.

• Schedule: 34-week school year, August–May
• Price: There is a $45 placement/audition fee for all new students seeking placement or returning students who did not have continuous enrollment. Families receive a 5% discount when tuition is paid in full. There is a non-refundable registration fee due upon enrollment per student. A showcase fee is required for participating students by November 1st and is non-refundable after November 30th; it includes participation, costumes and video of the student’s showcase performance.

The school includes a Preparatory Training Center that allows students to begin ballet as early as 18 months and continue through their teenage years, a Youth Dance Program for ages 8–18 to learn ballet fundamentals and elective classical dance forms, and an Academy that requires an audition and is structured for rigorous ballet study to prepare for a professional ballet career. Spring and Summer camps include ballet, contemporary, jazz, and other styles for students of all skill levels, and the Summer Intensive program focuses on advanced training in technical skills, artistry, and career preparation in a supportive environment.

Leadership and education roles include Christopher Alloways-Ramsey as Director of Education, Amyia Burrell as Head of the Young Dancer Program, Natasha Glos as Principal Teacher & Principal Coach, Jorden Morris as Artistic Director, and Bradley Renner as Executive Director. Orlando Ballet states that its mission is to entertain, educate and enrich through the highest quality of dance, and its community involvement includes education and outreach through Orlando Ballet School and programs such as the STEPS program, which launched in 1992 as the organization’s first outreach program.

For auditions or placement, students are asked to wear a black or solid colored leotard, pink or flesh toned tights with matching ballet or pointe shoes, and to have hair in a ballet bun or neatly pulled back away from the face; students who are on pointe are asked to bring pointe shoes to their audition or placement class.
