About

The Art Center Highland Park Summer Camps offer art-focused camps that include Jewelry, Ceramics, Cartooning, and Mixed-Media. Camps are offered as both classes and Summer Camps in these mediums, and all skill levels are welcome. In August, the Summer session culminates in a Youth Show that exhibits work from both classes and camps.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: TAC 2026 Summer Camps run for 9 weeks, from June 8 through August 7, with 1-week and 2-week camp options in morning (9 am–12 pm) and afternoon (12:30–3:30 pm) sessions

The Art Center Highland Park is a not-for-profit organization that describes itself as the North Shore’s home for artistic discovery and creative exploration, offering programs, exhibitions, and classes for all levels and ages. All campers have snack breaks outside when weather permits, and all-day campers have the option of a monitored lunch break from 12–12:30 pm. Families are asked to review Parent/Guardian Information for Camp and complete the Emergency Contact Form before attending camp.

The Art Center Highland Park offers student scholarships each year for classes, workshops, and creative summer art camps and states that it never turns down a scholarship. Its community involvement includes outreach educational programs with partner organizations throughout the region for underserved populations, as well as events such as Draw Together (a summer festival), a Recycled Art Sale with thousands of donated artworks and art pieces for sale, Late Nights in the Gallery with dinner on the lawn, live music, and evening gallery access, Arts in Action events about current events, diversity, and inclusion, and Exchange Events with high-profile artists, filmmakers, dance companies, and other cultural topics. The Art Center states that it is committed to a safe environment for students, visitors, instructors, and donors, and it has a Zero Tolerance Policy and a Code of Conduct.
