About
Carpe Diem Arts offers after-school programs, summer arts and language immersion camps, ukulele classes, and performance opportunities for all ages. The program also organizes community dances, a concert series including the Brookletts Concert Series, monthly family sings, and cultural enrichment programs and residencies in schools. Carpe Diem Arts hosts First Fridays, which are events to sing in community with others and feature non-secular music.

First Fridays are scheduled with doors opening at 6:30 pm for social time and the event starting at 7:00 pm on the next date of January 2, 2025. A Thursday event on January 8 runs from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm, with free beginner lessons from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm and dancing from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Another event is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2025, from 12:15 pm to 1:00 pm. Carpe Diem Arts is led by founder Busy Graham. Its mission states that it is dedicated to serving diverse audiences with quality arts experiences, representing a broad range of cultural traditions and artistic disciplines. Carpe Diem Arts, Inc. is a tax-exempt charitable organization. The organization partners with other area non-profits to expand its reach and deepen its impact, including a partnership with Church of the Ascension to offer an opportunity to sing in community with others. The program shares an Arts to You Newsletter with a curated event listing every two weeks and notes Covid Precautions as Tier 2, with masks and vaccinations encouraged but not required.
