About
Theater Tuesdays offers theater classes for kids that focus on theater activities. The program meets on Tuesdays in the late afternoon.
• Ages: 4–8 years old
• Schedule: Tuesdays from 4:15–5:30
Theater Tuesdays is part of a community arts center whose mission is “Building a Creative Home for Frogtown and Rondo.” Since 2009, a dedicated coalition has worked to realize this mission with the purchase and renovation of the historic Victoria Theater into a community arts center. The program is presented in collaboration with the Frogtown Neighborhood Association for the Frogtown Arts Festival 2026, an annual outdoor festival celebrating the talents and cultures of Saint Paul’s Frogtown and Rondo neighborhood. The Community Engagement Director is Mercedes Yarbrough, the Executive Director is Tyler Olsen-Highness, the Associate Executive Director is David Valentine, the Operation and Facilities Director is Matt Alto, and the Minecraft Coordinator is Sara Smith. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
