West Essex YMCA Day Camps are operated by the West Essex YMCA, which is owned by Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges. The program runs as a summer day camp for children entering grades pre-K through 10, and qualifying families may receive reduced tuition rates through the Y for All Fund.

The Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges holds accreditations as listed under “METRO YMCA OF THE ORANGES ACCREDITATIONS Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges.” Through the Y for All Fund, the YMCA offers financial assistance so qualifying families can receive reduced tuition rates for camp. One Teen Adventure Camp parent reported that the camp offered many trips and described it as well-planned, and teen campers in 7th and 8th grade described enjoying the trips, learning on each trip, and making new friends.
