About
Camp Prospect offers a multi-age, play-based camp that includes activities such as music, STEM, outdoor play, water play, and art projects. Campers take part in experiments and other science activities, and each session’s activities, projects, special visitors, science, and art projects are related to that session’s theme. The program also includes a service project and has a student to counselor ratio of 5:1.
• Ages: 2–5 years old
• Schedule: Camp runs Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–1 PM, in three multi-week sessions from mid-June through late July.
• Price: Session 1: $550; Session 2: $550; Session 3: $550; $100 discount for attending all 3 sessions.
Camp Prospect’s mission statement describes the camp as offering hours of discovery through a mix of activities, music, STEM, outdoor and water play, special guests, and more, with campers also taking part in a service project that fosters community and compassion. Examples of past community projects include “stuffing” the Green Bean, making gifts for residents of Winchester Gardens, and collecting items for Interfaith Hospitality Network. A small snack is provided, and campers bring their own nut-free lunch. Children attending Camp Prospect should be 2.5 years old by their first week of camp and have prior preschool experience, and children can attend up until the summer before they start kindergarten.
