About
Cultured Kids Club Summer Camp offers Spanish, French, and Chinese language programs for children. The summer camps are designed to teach children both the language and the cultures of five different native-speaking countries, with activities that can include dancing the Flamenco as part of Spanish or French camp.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
Since 2008, Cultured Kids Club has educated thousands of students in foreign language proficiency. The program uses its award-winning “Language In Action®” total immersion foreign language curriculum, which is aligned with ACTFL standards and organized into six language proficiency levels. Classes are kept small, with 6–8 children per group, and are categorized by each student’s age and proficiency level. All registered families receive access to a “Student Corner” webpage with extra between-class learning materials such as practice sheets, Quizlet games, cartoons, YouTube videos, and suggested tablet and phone apps.
Teachers have native pronunciation and communication skills, are CPR and First Aid certified, and are up-to-date on FBI and BCI background checks. In addition, teachers hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with early education experience, are trained and proficient in Total Immersion and Total Response teaching methods, and are experienced in administering “Language In Action®” classes for every age and skill level. Cultured Kids Club describes its native-speaking or fluent teachers as “the crème de la crème of language educators.”
Cultured Kids Club’s goal is to provide children the advanced language skills necessary to achieve native-level communication in reading, writing, and verbal pronunciation for a lifetime of opportunity in education, employment, and world adventure. Cultured Kids Club offers Spanish, French, and Chinese language programs in more than 50 locations throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Kentucky, including programs in community recreation centers and after-school programs in elementary, middle, and private schools. One parent shared, “We’ve been coming to Spanish class for our 3 year old since he was 1 1/2. It’s a great place to be around other toddlers, learn and enrich his mind with new ideas and topics every week. We’re planning on joining the advanced pre-k class!” — Brittany Y.
