NBC explains that “NBC” means Nothing Beats Commitment, focuses on training the total athlete, and places servant leadership at its core, with coaches trained to serve others, be intentionally engaged with each camper, and operate as professionals. Equipment guidelines state that players should bring their own athletic gear, at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball shoes, and a clearly labeled basketball, and note that NBC Camps is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Rooming details include two campers per room, shared common bathrooms with private stalls, air conditioning with the option to bring a fan, and a lost key fee. Transportation is not provided, and campers are responsible for getting to and from camp, with no supervision before or after camp hours, and allergies, dietary restrictions, and medical concerns are requested during registration so staff can be prepared. NBC Camps also notes that it is located in six countries, offers many different programs and training options, invites athletes ages 14–18 on international tours through NBC Travel Teams, and describes its camps as high-energy and fun, with each moment at camp having a purpose and meaning.
