Programs are committed to providing age-appropriate instruction, are optimized for developmental milestones at each age group, and focus on making sports fun for kids while being convenient for today’s busy families. Each week, one of nine sportsmanship values is integrated into practice and game play across all age groups, and a sportsmanship medal is awarded to a player who best demonstrates the weekly sportsmanship value. Nike Kids Camps powered by i9 Sports are designed for campers ages 5–12, with age groups broken out to ensure age-appropriate skills.

It has also been selected as a Project Play Champion by the Aspen Institute’s national Project Play initiative.
Parents have described the program as a safe escape for children to be kids while learning both athletic and life skills, with good communication and thought-out measures to keep kids as safe as possible. Families have noted appreciation that the program was provided despite COVID concerns so their children could have structured physical activity, and they reported that the sites where they played felt safe and were set up very well. Other parents have said they like that practice, game, and fun are all in one morning, and that coaches have been well organized and their children have learned a lot. Additional feedback describes it as a very well run program that focuses on teaching good sportsmanship and respect for one another, and parents have observed it as a great experience to see children grow and have a great time playing a sport with no pressure about performance.
