ADAMS Youth Programs offers a range of activities including Accessible Basketball Night for Special Needs Children, Sisters Light Fitness, and a Youth Recreation & Coffee Area. The program includes religious and educational activities such as Daily Prayers, Friday Prayers, Ramadan Taraweeh Prayers, Weekdays Tahfeedh ul Quran Program, Weekdays Taleem ul Quran Program, and Taleem ul Quran Saturday & Sunday Children’s Education Program (CEP). Youth and family-focused gatherings include a MONTHLY ICE CREAM SOCIAL and Chai and Convo.

• Schedule: Activities and classes are offered on weekdays and weekends, including Accessible Basketball Night starting at 6:00 PM on select Sundays, Sisters Light Fitness starting at 6:00 PM on select Tuesdays, weekday Quran programs, Saturday and Sunday CEP sessions, and various evening programs after Maghrib and Isha.
• Price: Fee for one class is $30, for two classes is $50, and for unlimited classes per family is $100.

Taleem ul Quran programs run on weekdays and weekends, including a Monday–Thursday program from 4:00–7:00 PM and a Saturday Children Education Program (CEP) with AM and PM sessions from 10:15 AM–1:15 PM and 2:00–5:00 PM. Regular study and discussion sessions include Tafseer and Halaqa at 8:00 PM every Friday, a Halaqa every Wednesday from 6:00–8:00 PM for middle school students, a youth Halaqa every other Sunday for middle and high school students, and a Quran Halaqa on Sundays after Fajr.

Additional weekly learning activities include Tafseer & Hifz on Mondays after Maghrib, Fiqh and Islam 101 for New Muslims on Tuesdays after Maghrib, sessions on Allah’s Divine Names & Attributes and Quran Youth on Wednesdays after Maghrib, Hadith on Thursdays after Maghrib, and Seerah of the Prophet on Fridays after Maghrib. There is also a daily khatira after Isha from Monday to Friday and question and counseling sessions by appointment with Sheikh Tidiane Diallo.

Over the past four decades, the ADAMS Center has grown into one of the largest Muslim communities in the Washington, D.C. area. The ADAMS Social Services Department’s mission is to provide therapy programs, support groups, financial assistance, and mental, physical, and spiritual health programs in an atmosphere of compassion. The food pantry provides food and needed items to families in need of all faiths.

ADAMS Center is a not-for-profit organization recognized as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Individuals coming to pray are encouraged to bring their own prayer mats, and masks are optional for all activities inside ADAMS facilities, including prayer services, with masks encouraged but not provided.
