• Ages: 6 weeks–6 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with care available between 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Trinity Early Childhood Academy offers quality childcare for children six weeks to six years in a Christian-based, Christ-centered environment that is described as safe, nurturing, and encouraging. The program operates year-round, is peanut- and tree nut-aware, and includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks in tuition. Its curriculum is thematically and developmentally based in accordance with the Wisconsin Model of Early Learning Standards and is designed to progressively become more academic with a kindergarten-readiness focus. The program describes itself as having a small school feel with big school resources and as providing “Education Under The Cross.”
The academy uses a spacious gymnasium, three secure, age-appropriate outdoor play areas, and a natural playground/outdoor classroom. It is fully licensed by the State of Wisconsin and the Department of Health and Social Services, and St. Croix Valley Magazine voted Trinity Preschool and Childcare Best of 2019. Trinity Early Childhood Academy is a Hudson School District 4K Partner as part of its full-day Owls classroom. The program was established in 1995 and is led by Principal Mr. Steve Schoenecker. Experienced Early Childhood Education teachers staff the program, and all staff are fully trained in CPR and First Aid.
The stated mission is “Providing excellence in early childhood education, and developing a foundation of faith in the children we serve.” One parent testimonial notes that individual academic attention has enabled their children to thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning. Another family describes appreciating the family culture, parent involvement, and that teachers, leadership, and staff truly know their children. A parent reports that Trinity has provided children with opportunities outside the classroom to develop in their areas of interest. A grandparent with public school teaching experience describes seeing obvious love from teachers for children, prayer being allowed by and for students and teachers, advantages of smaller classes, and an emphasis on educating children for both their lives and eternity.
