Lil' Crappie Swim School

Lil' Crappie Swim School offers private one-on-one swim instruction, semi-private one-to-two swim instruction, and group water safety and swim lessons. The program includes parent-led swim instruction for swimmers ages 6 months to 24 months and focuses on swim skill progression. Instruction is personalized for any age and skill level, with a development-based approach that focuses on individual needs, water safety, and the setting of achievable goals. Summer lessons take place in a private residential, outdoor, in-ground, heated, 9-foot-deep pool, and fall, winter, and spring lessons take place in an indoor heated pool at Point of Stillness.

Lil' Crappie Swim School is owned and operated by Maddy Rosewood. Instruction is provided by a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard with over 20 years of experience who is a Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid Certified, a Certified Pool Operator, an MRPA Water Safety Presenter, and an Adaptive, Infant, Youth, Adult, and Competitive Swim Instructor. The stated goal of the program is to bring high quality swim instruction and water safety education to the St. Croix Valley. One parent shared, "We've tried swim franchises and community centers and this is the best our child has ever done!"
