Salinas Police Activities League Youth Programs offers a variety of activities, including Arts & Crafts, Ballet, Bowling, Cadets, a Car Show, Music Class, Soccer Camps, a Holiday Toy Giveaway, and Ventana Day Trips. The program also provides Center Rentals connected to its activities and events.
• Price: This year, we are offering a early bird ticket. This reduced ticket price is valid until June 30, 2026.
The mission of Salinas PAL is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for recreational, educational, cultural, and social programs while bridging the gap between police officers, youth, and the community. The organization’s leadership team includes President: Officer Danny Garcia; Officer Lino Sanchez; Vice President: Mariano (Jr.) Amparo; Secretary: Thom Taft; Treasurer: Jose Moya; Board Member: Lori Magdeleno; and Board Member: Chris Avila. Sponsorships and proceeds from the 11th Annual Classic Car Show fundraiser support free PAL youth programs for the children in the community. The 11th Annual Classic Car Show in Old Town Salinas is a free family event with classic cars, kids activities, music, and vendors, and goodie bags are provided to the first 100 arrivals. The program focuses on creating a safe space for all youth and a welcoming environment where young people can engage in various activities without fear or judgment.
