Forest Trails Playschool

Forest Trails Playschool offers play-based nature immersion programs where children spend time outdoors in Nature Stay and Play programs. Children observe plants and wildlife and use sticks, stones, mud, water, and other natural elements for imaginative, physical, and social play. Learning takes place through hands-on experiences in the natural world and unfolds through meaningful, play-based activities.

Forest Trails Playschool has been providing play-based nature programs to children in the Central Florida area since 2023. Skilled educators guide children as they develop early academic, social, and emotional skills while building resilience, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. The program’s mission is to provide a play-based, nature immersion program that cultivates a deep connection to nature, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning, and to offer a nature immersion education that will enable each child to become a creative thinker, an independent and joyful learner, and a steward of the Earth. Educational memberships include the Natural Start Alliance (NSA), the North American Association of Environmental Education (NAAEE), and the League of Environmental Educators in Florida (LEEF). Forest Trails Playschool states that it creates an educational and social environment in which families and educators of diverse backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, and expressly valued, and that all programs are open to families of all histories, backgrounds, genders, identities, and abilities. The program states that it does not discriminate based on race, sex, gender identity, gender preference, nationality, religion, or ableness.
