The SHC Summer Institute is a series of one-week enrichment courses and sports academies for motivated students and athletes ages 8–14. Instructed by SHC’s talented faculty, staff and coaches, students and athletes explore exciting topics through hands-on learning and field trips and pursue athletic achievement with others that share their interests and abilities.

Participants explore local wildlife and bay ecology through hands-on activities like low tide exploration, nature journaling, birding, canoeing, and nature crafts. Engaging with high-quality equipment, campers enjoy immersive experiences and playtime at the Adventure Playground.

A specialized medical summer camp for children with sickle cell disease, offering activities such as horseback riding, rock wall climbing, swimming, and various sports. The camp provides education, growth, and development for each camper.

Year-round training programs for juniors, adults, and families of all levels and abilities, focusing on high-quality tennis instruction.

Tennis camps for junior players of all ages and experience levels, emphasizing fun and rigorous tutoring.

Silver Dragon Kung Fu Summer Camp immerses children in martial arts training, fostering discipline, focus, respect, and confidence. Participants engage in dynamic activities that promote personal growth and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Intensive training for orchestra musicians, including sectional coaching, masterclasses, and rehearsals. Campers bond and perform in a final concert.

Summer camp for elementary, middle, and high school students to explore art, writing, acting, music, and filmmaking.

Half-day camps offering a wide range of activities including Maker Space, Coding, Sports, Nature, Arts & Crafts, Multimedia Arts, Performing Arts, STEM, and Robotics.
